MATD3009 Advanced DSP Music

Course Description: This is a 15-credit module for 3rd year BSc students that develops a more advanced understanding of the DSP technology that was introduced in MATD2004 Further Digital Signal Processing. This module is standalone, although a foundation is always recommended. The studens follows up on the study of main concepts in digital signal processing. The student focuses on developing further programming strategies and techniques behind DSP for music related to mathematical concepts. The development of research skills related to digital signal processing for music are emphasised.
